KOS ISLAND GREECE - OPTIONAL TRIP TO NISSYROS ISLAND

We leave from the hotel to Kardamena by bus (about 45 minutes) and then by ship to Nissyros. We arrive in Mandraki, do a quick visit through the port before leaving to the volcano (30 min.) where we will descend into Polyvotis crater. The crater Small Polyvotis, is a small crater and the newest of the volcano of Nisyros, which was created by the last hydrothermal eruption reported in Nisyros, in 1887. We then return to Mandraki, visit the idyllic town and have lunch in an authentic tavern. We can also visit Panagia Monastery but this is optional. We arrive back in Kardamena at around 18:00.
